Top of the morning to ya from London!

It’s been a quick hop over to London (picture from my approach to London Heathrow) for an interesting online casino conference. It may come as a shock to everyone, but every corner of the conference was talking about AI. Whether using AI for marketing, compliance, risk, or fraud, it was THE topic. Luckily, my presentation was also about AI ;)

In the past, it was common for a new trend to emerge, but only about 10-20% of the conference would be on board or speaking about it. With AI, it’s different as everyone, from every aspect of the industry, was talking about it.

One of the panel discussions, and one of the questions posed to the audience was, “Where are you on your AI implementation journey?” 35% of the responses indicated that they are ONLY in the planning stages, which suggests that we still have considerable potential to build a business, consult, or generally get started in the AI space.

Here’s this week’s Byte Newsletter.

🚦 OpenRouter: One API to Rule All LLMs

Supercharge your AI stack with OpenRouter, a unified marketplace and API gateway for 300+ LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, open-source, and more) with smart routing, billing aggregation, and fallbacks baked in. Basically, it’s the middleware your AI toolkit didn’t know it needed.

🔁 One Endpoint to Connect Them — No juggling SDKs or changing code when switching from GPT-4 to Llama 3 or Claude
• 🛡️ Reliability via Routing & Fallbacks — Auto reroute when one provider hiccups; enjoy minimal downtime
💸 Transparent, Pay-What-They-Charge Pricing — Uses provider prices + small credit-purchase fee; optionally BYOK with 5% service fee
• ⚙️ Extra Goodies — Structured JSON outputs, multimodal support, usage analytics, consolidated billing dashboard

Startups and devs can test, compare, and deploy across dozens of models without code rewrites, saving time and ensuring seamless scalability.

OpenRouter is your AI Swiss army knife. One API. Endless capabilities.

🕵️‍♂️ Agentic AI: Privacy is an Illusion in the New Era

Think you’re in control of your data? Think again. As AI agents become more autonomous, users’ ability to manage personal privacy is vanishing fast. The age of “agentic AI” means your info is now on autopilot and the brakes are gone.

  • 🤖 Self-Driving Decisions: Agentic AIs make choices for you, collecting and sharing data with little user oversight.

  • 🔒 Privacy Black Hole: Traditional privacy tools can’t keep up with constantly learning and evolving AI agents.

  • 🚦 No More Red Lights: Once an agent acts, reversing data exposure is nearly impossible.

  • 🛑 Opt-Out? Good Luck: Controlling what these AIs do with your info is like putting toothpaste back in the tube.

In the world of autonomous AI, “privacy controls” are starting to look like museum pieces. The only real option? Rethink what privacy even means.

🧑‍🚀 GitHub Copilot Gets Smarter: Meet Your New Coding Agent

GitHub just launched a major upgrade to Copilot. Now it’s not just suggesting code, it can actually handle full tasks for you. The new “coding agent” powers enable you to delegate tasks to Copilot, allowing you to focus on what matters.

Hello, autopilot mode for coding!

💼 Assign and Forget: Tell Copilot what you want, like fixing a bug or refactoring code, and it’ll take care of the rest, reporting back when it’s done.

📝 Task Management Built In: You can now manage, review, and track Copilot’s work right from your IDE, making it your own digital junior developer.

🚨 Still Learning: While powerful, Copilot’s agent is still evolving. Complex tasks might need some human steering, but the future of hands-free coding is here.

Copilot’s new task agent isn’t just a helper; it’s turning into a true coding teammate. Ready to let your IDE do the heavy lifting?

Have a huge backlog of open tickets or comments, delegate them now to Copliot and gain back some time.

🌾 Roblox Teens’ 3-Day Farming Game Nearly Breaks the Internet

A teenager whipped up a farming game on Roblox in just three days and it went so viral it pulled in a jaw-dropping 8.9 million players online at the same time. For perspective, Steam’s entire platform peaked at 11.5 million concurrent players that same day. Talk about breaking the mold.

🧑‍🎓 Teen Dev Power:
One solo dev, a few days, and Roblox’s tools were all it took to spark a mega-viral hit.

📈 Record-Shattering Traffic:
8.9 million players simultaneously putting nearly every other game to shame.

🥕 Simple, Addictive Gameplay:
Sometimes it’s the low-key games (plant, harvest, repeat) that take over the world.

🚀 Roblox = Viral Goldmine:
With its easy-to-use creator tools, Roblox keeps giving anyone with a big idea a shot at instant stardom.

The takeaway? You don’t need a massive studio or months of dev time sometimes, all it takes is one good idea, a weekend, and a Roblox account.

Looks like my son and I will build some Roblox games this summer.

🤖 8 Automations That Could Replace Your Whole Marketing Team (No, Really)

What if you could fire up a set of automations that handle research, copywriting, ad testing, and reporting no coffee breaks, no salary talks? That’s exactly what this viral X thread from @VibeMarketer_ is promising with n8n, the automation tool turning solo founders into full-on marketing /automation squads.

Set It & Forget It:
These n8n automations run 24/7, handling creative testing, deep research, copy generation, and even campaign reporting all on autopilot.

🧑‍💻 No More Repetitive Tasks:
Automate your social posts, email sequences, ad performance tracking, and more. Human marketers can focus on strategy while bots tackle the grunt work.

💰 Save Big:
Scale your marketing ops without stacking up headcount (or payroll headaches). Let bots handle the boring stuff while you build.

🔄 Always Improving:
With automations that test, tweak, and learn nonstop, your campaigns get smarter without you lifting a finger.

This isn’t just hype. The era of “do more with less” is here, and these automations are ready to be your unfair advantage.
